I?ve been away from the blog for sooo long due to completely forgetting my password and unmitigated procrastination.
The last time I blogged I featured cocktails from menus through my Class Cocktails business.? Over the last six years my activities have expanded to accommodate special requests and my passion for providing quality party & event services, namely of course around drinks menus.
These rather pleasant ?off shoots? have seen the development of characters which add another fun dimension to party themed events.
?Nora? a delightful and slightly mischievous maid from the 1920?s era ? who is ideally suited to serving at Gatsby, Gangster, and 1920?s themed parties.? Nora can serve prohibition style cocktails in tea-cups.? She is great at family events serving a selection of gimlets for the adults and giggle water for the teetotallers & children.
?Elli-Mae? ?is a waitress from 1950?s Southern States of America.? The exact origin of Ellie-Mae is hard to pin point as her accent wanders slightly.? It is thought to be slightly North of South Carolina and a little left of West Virginia.? Ellie-Mae specialises in Dixie Drinks, tipsy shakes and has been known to ?embellish? ice cream sundaes with a ?spirited? topping.
Another delicious off shoot of the Cocktail making business has been the acquisition of a Compounders Licence for the production of small batch liqueurs made with hand-picked berries & blossom infused in fine Scottish vodka spirit from Strathleven Distillery.? Kirkton Liqueurs (named after an area of Kirkton Glen where the first batch of brambles were picked) are on sale when off sales licenses are granted at local (mainly West Coast of Scotland) food & drink markets and for special events at Lime Tree Larder, Auchencloigh Farm on the outskirts of Kilbirnie where the Liqueurs are now produced.? The liqueurs were initially made to create specific flavours for cocktails, they can be sipped straight from the (liqueur) glass with no mixer or topped up with prosecco, or added to ice-cream, waffles and pancakes to make instant and delicious adult desserts.? I take orders to produce bespoke gift favours, and personalised labels can be designed and printed for your event courtesy of Brian of Tall Graphics.
As a born again blogger I hope to feature all these elements of the ?drinks business? on the Liquidicious WordPress site. ?To speak to me about any of the options above, call 07707 873 210 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.? Message through facebook pages ClassCocktails & Kirkton Liqueurs.? Follow activities on twitter class cocktails or Kirkton Liqueurs or Instagram as liquidicious
It all seems a bit fractious ? that?s because it is- and once I get assistance in ?keeping it all together? which should make life simpler (hah! Is there such a thing?) I shall let all my followers know.
Meantime.? Celebrate the good things in life ? with a Cocktail Party
